I was always very close to my grandparents. I chose to visit them once a month (both sides of the family), all of my life. I am very close to my own parents and I enjoy their company and spending time with them and their friends as well.
The idea behind the workshops.
The workshops are designed to encourage potentially lonely and socially isolated older adults out of their home.
The aim is for individuals to make genuine friendships and improve well-being.You will feel connection and inclusion with others similar to you as you explore retirement planning that goes beyond just financial planning to include physical and cognitive health, social engagement and purposeful living.
The 4 week course will see older adults cooperating and sharing personal details for bonding. To feel as valued as children are within our society.
